Structure and dimensions of PSEs
Paving elements may be one-layered and two-layered, made of high-density concrete.
Thickness of PSEs – 60, 80, 100, 120, and 140 mm
Two-layered paving elements consist of the lower concrete base layer and upper (decorative) frost-resistant layer.
Compression strength of concrete is not below Class  35 (450 kg/cm2).
Frost-resistance – not below F 200
Water absorption – not above 6 %
Abrasion of surface layer – not above 0.7 g/cm2
All dimensions of stones are nominal
Tolerable deviation in dimensions shall not exceed:
Length–Breadth: ± 3 mm;
Thickness: ± 5 mm
In view of the above restrictions, prior to placement a range of particular-type PSEs shall be aligned in place to define the exact width of masonry and the necessary width of joints.
